From Federal Prison to Music Studio: Razzlekhan’s Comeback

Heather “Razzlekhan” Morgan, the convicted money launderer in the infamous 2016 Bitfinex hack case, is preparing to release new music as she approaches the end of her prison sentence. The 35-year-old rapper and social media personality, currently under supervision at a residential reentry facility in Sacramento, is scheduled for full release on December 28, 2025.

The New Track: “Turki$h Martha”

Morgan’s forthcoming track, titled “Turki$h Martha,” is expected to drop this Friday, marking her first musical release since being imprisoned for laundering funds from one of the largest cryptocurrency thefts in history. The song apparently gained popularity during her incarceration at Victorville Federal Correctional Complex.

Prison Reception and Content

In a November 12 social media post, Morgan revealed that both prison staff and inmates regularly requested she perform “Turki$h Martha” while incarcerated. The track continues her signature eccentric style, featuring lyrics about baklava, hashish, and her self-proclaimed “Versace bedouin” persona.

Visual Elements and Style

Preview clips shared online show Morgan performing while wearing an Ottoman-style war helmet and dancing alongside another individual. The lyrics include unconventional lines such as “real bitch nothing fake, just baklava, fuck cake” and references to Turkish culture, reflecting her time studying at Bilkent University in Ankara.

The Bitfinex Hack Legacy

Morgan was sentenced in November 2024 for her role in laundering more than 119,000 BTC stolen in the 2016 Bitfinex breach, valued at over $11 billion at current prices. Her husband, Ilya Lichtenstein, received a five-year sentence for money laundering and claimed sole responsibility for the actual hack.

Legal Developments and Claims

Recent developments include Lichtenstein’s assertion in a video call that his wife was unaware of the hack during the years it remained unsolved. Federal authorities successfully recovered the majority of the stolen Bitcoin, though the case remains one of the most significant in cryptocurrency history.

Razzlekhan’s Controversial Persona

Morgan’s rapper alter ego, which she describes as “Genghis Khan, but with more pizzazz,” gained viral attention following her 2022 arrest. Her online presence has consistently blended entrepreneurial advice, lifestyle content, and rap videos spanning her travels across Turkey, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, and Egypt.

Despite her legal troubles, Morgan maintained content creation throughout her legal proceedings, releasing music about the emotional strain of impending incarceration and operating a Cameo account where she billed herself as “crypto’s favorite felon.”
