XRP Price Action: Defending the $1 Level

On July 1, XRP was trading near $1.04. The token fell 0.48% in the past 24 hours, 5.31% over seven days, 20.29% over the past month, and 53.24% over the past year, indicating an active broader downtrend. The 24-hour range remained tight between $1.03 and $1.05. XRP ranked sixth by market value, with a market capitalization near $64.65 billion and daily trading volume above $1.6 billion. The narrow range suggests sellers still pressure the market, but buyers are defending the $$1 support.

Current Market Data and Key Levels

  • Price: $1.04
  • 24h change: -0.48%
  • 7d change: -5.31%
  • 30d change: -20.29%
  • 1y change: -53.24%
  • 24h low/high: $1.03 / $1.05
  • Market cap: ~$64.65 billion
  • Daily volume: >$1.6 billion

The key support level remains $1. A recovery above $1.08 and $1.10 would signal short-term strength, while a move below $1 could open the path toward $0.85 and $0.70.

XRP ETF Demand Stays Positive Despite Single Outflow

Data from SoSoValue showed one daily outflow on June 30 for XRP spot ETFs, with net withdrawals of $2.83 million. This was the only outflow since June 3, while prior daily entries were positive or flat. Despite this red day, the broader monthly trend remained intact. June ended with $59.46 million in total net inflows, bringing cumulative net inflows to $1.48 billion. Strong daily inflows of $15.63 million on June 26 and $15.34 million on June 29 more than offset the June 30 outflow, indicating sustained fund demand despite weak price action.

June Inflow Highlights

  • June 30 outflow: $2.83 million
  • June 26 inflow: $15.63 million
  • June 29 inflow: $15.34 million
  • Total June net inflows: $59.46 million
  • Cumulative net inflows: $1.48 billion

However, total net assets fell to $944.06 million on June 30 from $971.63 million on June 29, reflecting that price weakness reduced ETF asset value even as monthly flows stayed positive. Previously, XRP ETFs had crossed $1 billion in cumulative inflows by mid-December 2025 and passed $1.5 billion by early March 2026 before momentum slowed, with assets falling back toward $1 billion by mid-2026.

Whale Withdrawals and Open Interest Reset

Analysis by Amr Taha showed whale-sized XRP withdrawals became more dominant on Coinbase in the second half of June. Transfers above 1 million XRP rose from about 10% of total outflow value on June 16 to 25.7% by July 1. On Binance, whale footprint remained larger and steadier, with withdrawals above 1 million XRP ending at 49.6% of total outflow value. This indicates large holders are taking a bigger role in XRP exchange outflows.

Whale Activity on Exchanges

  • Coinbase: 1M+ XRP withdrawals rose from ~10% (Jun 16) to 25.7% (Jul 1)
  • Binance: 1M+ XRP withdrawals ended at 49.6%

Derivatives Market Cleanup

Open interest in XRP derivatives has fallen from a $1.3 billion peak to below $150 million, removing much of the leverage built during earlier rallies. Long liquidations jumped 832% above their three-month average, with $6.7 million flushed in a single candle. This reset can reduce forced selling after crowded long positions unwind, but a recovery still requires spot buyers and ETF demand.

Technical and On-Chain Indicators

Crypto analyst EGRAG CRYPTO noted that XRP’s monthly RSI has entered its most oversold zone in history and is now flattening. “Sometimes the strongest bullish signals are born when the chart looks its weakest,” he wrote, adding that XRP remains in macro compression until it breaks the $1.65 level. That mark remains a medium-term target, with immediate focus on defending $1 and reclaiming $1.08–$1.10 before challenging $1.20.

Monthly RSI in Oversold Territory

EGRAG CRYPTO stated the RSI broke below 42, 41, and even 40, flattening afterward. This is the most oversold monthly reading in XRP history. The $1.65 level is far above current price, serving as a medium-term resistance.

RLUSD Volume and Supply Growth

Ripple-backed Evernorth reported that RLUSD has routed more than $2.5 billion through XRP Ledger pairs since launch. The RLUSD/XRP pair cleared about $900 million in six months, while RLUSD supply on XRP Ledger grew to about $800 million by late June. While this supports XRP Ledger usage, it has not yet changed XRP’s price trend. XRP remains near $1 with $0.85 and $0.70 as lower support zones if the level breaks.
